Week 66: PUMPKIN

October.  If you could choose something that represents this month, what would it be?  A pumpkin would probably be one of the front runners if we took a vote!  Let's see what this autumn produce brings to mind for you!

First, though, let's take a look at what the design team thought of when they read this week's cue word!

design defined:
Use smaller images in a line to "ground" the image on your clean and simple card.

Melissa
  design defined:
Simple images.  Simple sentiment.  Simple embellishments.

Rosemary
design defined:
When in doubt remember the "rule of three"!

Tracey
design defined:
Through the use of a frame and a window you can add interest to both the outside and inside of your card.

Ardyth
design defined:
A one layered card is an easy way to keep things CAS!

design defined:
A tag can be a great way to add extra detail to a CAS card.

Jen
design defined:
Let a tiny image shine by placing it in the card's upper sweet spot.

design defined:
Scoring lines can add balance to your one-layer card.

Kimberly
design defined:
Distressed inks and sponging can add a watercolor feel to a CAS card.

design defined:
Rounding a single corner is a nice way to balance out a CAS design.

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your PUMPKIN creations by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CDT)!

  3. I'm surprised there aren't more entries this week. Can anything be cuter or more fallish than a pumpkin?! Great word!
