Week 82: BOLD

Are you ready for a new cue word?  We're giving you the chance to be bold this week!  Show us what you've got in those creative minds of yours!  Whether you're thinking of bold colors or something else associated with this word, we're sure to have some fantastic entries this week!

Before we take a look at the design team's and guest designer's interpretations of BOLD, we need to let you know that Uniko Studio is once again sponsoring us!  They are celebrating their second anniversary and today just happens to be release day!  Be sure and visit their blog for all the fun details!  They are offering this week's winner the following prize:

Now let's take a look at the inspiration the design team and this week's guest designer have come up with for you!

Guest Designer:  Shelly
design defined:
Using an outlined background with a 'pop' of color, can make your main focus stand right out!

design defined:
Bold and bright colors in small quantities add punch to a CAS card.

Judy
design defined:
One bold, glittery die cut image can still be CAS when left to stand on it's own!

Kimberly
design defined:
Bold images can take center stage!

Maureen

design defined:
Make a bold statement by pairing black and white with a pop of red!

May
design defined:
Combine repeated stamping and masking to make a one-layer card, adding a small pop of color to support your message.

Meghan
design defined:
Use vellum to tone down bold papers and keep a clean and simple layer on top!

Melissa
design defined:
Monochromatic color schemes are perfect for a CAS design!

Tracey

design defined:
There is room for neon on a CAS design, if you use in moderation.

Ardyth
design defined:
Dark text and bright colours can be CAS if there's enough white space!

Gillian
design defined:
'White Space' doesn't need to be white.

Jen
design defined:
Use textured cardstock on a white card base to add some interest.

Now go have fun and don't forget to link up your BOLD creation by Sunday at 4:00 p.m. (CST)!
